"It´s getting more and more difficult!
Eight young Riders came to the selection in Arezzo, a majority of Italian riders but also two girls from Holland and one boy from Denmark. Many of them are well on their way to become professionals, already working full time with riding either at home or at dealers stables.
Emile Hendrix and Gianluca Bormioli had a hard time to mark the differences between candidates. Interviews showed a high level of understanding of our sport and a determination to keep on improving.
The Organizing Commettee of Toscana Tour, as usual, took really well care of all our athletes making the Young Riders an happy family especially as four of our “old” riders competed with wins and good placings. Thank you to Giampiero Garofalo, Derin Demirsoy, Andrzej Oplatek and Jonathan Gordon".
