Into the second decade for YRA!

It is almost unbelievable, but we are about to end our sixth year with "a Young Riders Academy".

Time really flies when working with ambitious young people most of the time. The 2019 has been remarkable in several ways: some spectacular results on top international level as Amy Inglis in La Baule, Susan Fitzpatrick in Dublin and Mikey Pender in Geneva, Peter Clemens in Rome and Calgary and many others.  Harry Charles had been named Rolex ambassador and it is for sure another achievement.

We have finished two years of clinics in Bulgaria and some of those riders have improved considerably, we just have to find out what to do next. The November clinic in Prague for a group of young riders from central Europe, on a slightly higher level than in Bulgaria, was much appreciated by the Check NF and by the trainers who attended. Maybe the next steppingstone. Both Laura Klaphake and Emma O´Dwyer have greatly contributed to the success of this work together with Jean-Maurice Bonneau and Jos Lansink.

This year’s YRA members are just in the middle of their training sessions and doing well indeed.

At this time, we are looking at improvements we can make both for the program and the selection. We are also considering for YRA riders offers from some very interesting cooperation partners.

Next decade will be as exciting as the first one, not to promise even more!
