Jodie, who is representing Great Britain, had been two seconds faster than Belgian runner up in the Championship Young Rider first round.
In the past months, as per YRA program, she had been training at BWG stable with Ben Schroder.
Ben is in Vilamoura as well, to support Jodie during this week of competitions; we asked to comment her performance and he was very happy to answer: “ There are not so many students who can ride the course how we, as trainer, like it and ask for. Today she did it! She rode an amazing round from first jump till the last fence. I hope we can keep it like this, but it’s still a long week to go!”.
Jean Maurice Bonneau, YRA Chef d’Equipe in Vilamoura as well, is extremely enthusiastic about all the YRA riders at the show. “ They were all very professional, even with four penalty points”. Speaking of Jodie's performance, JMB said eagerly: " Dosage, Précision, Intelligence”, meaning a measured, precise, and very intelligent execution.
Looking forward to more successful days,
Stay tuned.
