For many athletes, and fans, the most significant week of the year is approaching: The Herning World Championship for Jumping will begin on August 10th.
As always, expectations are high both for the athletes involved, for Chef d’Equipes and Federations.
A first consideration, dictated by yesterday's definitive entries, concerns the participation of a good percentage of young riders. This well satisfies YRA board, because allowing young people to build experience during big events, alongside more experienced athletes, is a crusade that sees YRA involved from the beginning.
To be aware that five athletes, part of the YRA family, are representing their nations during this important event, fills us with pride and satisfaction for the efforts and commitment these guys have shown on the ground.
A championship always makes history, certainly we will have the opportunity to witness high-level sports, with ups and downs, some drama and hopefully a dream ending. Best of luck Francesca, Elin, Derin, Joe and Harry, we are proud to have escorted you in part of this journey.
