Gaj Riossa representing Young Riders and IJRC at FEI Sport Forum in Lausanne

The eleventh edition of the FEI Sports Forum 2023 has just concluded in Lausanne after two days of intense debates.

With the largest turnout ever recorded in this event, the second day of sessions further confirmed and highlighted the desire of the equestrian community to work together and find win-win solutions for all groups concerned, with the welfare of the horse and the future of the lo sport at the center of all considerations.

The session dedicated to the Cost of Jumping Events had been the focus, with representatives from all the key stakeholder groups, where Gaj Riossa, as panelist, representing the International Jumping Riders Club spoke on behalf of young riders who, indeed, strongly perceive the barriers of accessibility to shows.
