As already mentioned, the talented 2023-class of the Young Riders Academy (YRA) gathered for their first training session at Peelbergen Equestrian Centre in the Netherlands, World of Showjumping joined the group and witnessed the excitement and eagerness that filled the air. The YRA's rigorous selection process had identified the best among young riders, and they were all ready to embark on a journey that promised to take them to the pinnacle of the sport. Franke Sloothaak, a true legend of showjumping and a two-time Olympic Champion in 1988 and 1996, was on hand to share his wealth of knowledge and experience with the young riders, offering invaluable advice and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
