Learning, Connecting, Growing: Lugano 2025 Kicks Off

Today marks the beginning of an exciting week for the Young Riders Academy family, as we reunite in Lugano for the first Educational Seminar of the year — a signature moment in the YRA journey where learning goes far beyond the saddle.

Set in collaboration with Franklin University Switzerland, one of the country’s most prestigious international institutions, the seminar provides an inspiring academic environment where knowledge and sport meet. Over four days, our riders will dive into a carefully designed program that blends academic lectures, personal development, and real-world insight into the equestrian industry.

Inside the Seminar

The week will feature contributions from key industry figures, representatives of international organizations, and professionals from diverse fields — including communication, veterinary research, media training, and legal frameworks in sport.

From governance and business models to sports psychology and innovation, the seminar offers a 360° perspective on what it truly means to be an equestrian athlete today.

Beyond the Classroom

The Lugano seminar is also about connection: riders share ideas, build friendships, and reflect on their journey so far. There will be space for conversations, laughter, and the kind of bonding moments that only come when the boots come off.

As always, our aim is to equip the next generation of showjumping athletes not only with technical excellence, but with the vision and knowledge to become leaders of the sport.

We can’t wait to begin.
