I am the son of Olympic showjumper Tim Stockdale. I grew up around horses and they have always been a large part of my life. I made my Senior Nations cup debut in October 2020 and my first Championship debut in 2021, when I competed at the FEI Jumping European Championship with Cacharel. I was the youngest rider at the championships and both me and Cacharel were new to jumping at that level, but we put in a credible performance and I have high hopes for her future together. The Paris 2024 Olympic Games is my big goal, which I feel comes at a perfect time as Cacharel will be the right age and our partnership will have a few more years of experience. In the meantime, I hope to cement myself at five-star level, jump for Great Britain on more Nations Cup teams and, if all goes well, target the World Championships this year. Away from equestrian sport, I enjoy playing golf with my brother and the occasional session in the cricket nets.
